Oh, where do I even begin telling you guys about this family? The last I wrote about them was when I photographed Kathy for her maternity session… and we’ve had quite a few sessions since then!! This session was centered around baby Wyatt’s 6 month milestone and I was soooo excited to see him again! I’ve had tons of mamas book me this month for their family sessions to celebrate their little one’s half year milestone and I am ecstatic to help document the chunkiest babies!!

I began photographing Kathy’s milestones since her and Daniel first became engaged – so waaaay before I started this business of mine. She was actually the first person I photographed aside from my own children, and I was shocked she wanted little ol’ me to photograph her engagement photos! Fast forward a few years later, I’ve documented numerous milestones in her life and am forever grateful for her support. All her sessions truly show how far I’ve come since the start… and how much I’ve learned about photography (because lets be honest.. I cringe every time I scroll back to her engagement photos hahaha).

Anyways, this session went smooth and perfect as always. I couldn’t get over Wyatt’s little rolls and coos… he seriously gave me some baby fever that took me a while to cool down from! We initially started our session with some partly cloudy skies and they cleared up right when golden hour was the strongest. This was definitely a sunset to remember and one of the most beautiful locations!
