This time of yearly is usually the time where I have to slowly adjust to the full blown lime green rolling hills here in the Bay Area. I’m just so used to photographing the stunning golden rolling hills and adore the warmth they give… and go through a major adjustment period once they turn back green! Depending on the rainfall from the months prior, we typically expect our hills to turn back to green in the beginning to middle of November. They’re seriously just as beautiful as dry, tall grass and add the best pop of color especially with beautiful, blue skies!

I had an amazing time hanging out with this beautiful family! The kids were sooo full of energy and all the adults were sweating by the end of the session! The little ones were so goofy and silly and you can just feel their love and bond through the photos below. There were so many cuddles… laughs… bear hugs… kisses… and snotty noses from the cold weather of course, haha! I love all the photos from this session but the photos of the little ones rolling around on the blanket definitely make my heart swell with love. Oh and did I mention the light? We had the most beautiful golden glow at the end of our session… scroll to see it all!
